About our quote process

Book a free consultation and Phil & Mitch will visit your property to discuss what you would like to achieve with your home extension, what your budget is and what different options there are for a home extension at your property. You are also welcome to discuss any other work you would like done. Phil & Mitch will follow up with an itemised quote so that you know what the project will cost and won’t get any nasty surprises. There is no obligation to agree to work and you won’t be pressured to make a decision.

What to consider when planning an extension

Can Elite Builders London fit my new kitchen?

Yes! Our specialist kitchen designers and fitters can help you realise your dream kitchen – it’s all part of our end-to-end service.

Do I need my own architect?

if you already have plans, we’re happy to work with those. If not, Elite Builders London design and build service includes professional architect plans.

Will there be a mess?

The Elite Builders London team will respect your home and family life, endeavour to minimise the disruption and always tidy up after ourselves.

Who will be in my house?

Phil and Mitch are the main members of the Elite Builders London team and are on-site through most of the build. Our other tradespeople are trusted and experienced contractors who have worked with us for many years. Our clients often tell us how comfortable they have felt having the team in the house working around their families.

Will I need planning permission?

During your free consultation with Elite Builders London we will be able to advise you on whether you need planning permission. Our architects and designers can help guide you through the process.

How long will it take?

Depending on their size and complexity, home extensions usually take from six to 20 weeks. Phil and Mitch will discuss a timescale with you at your consultation. We don’t make promises we can’t keep so our schedules are realistic and reliable.

How much will it cost?

In most cases house extensions are far cheaper than moving home. After your consultation, our specialist builders Phil and Mitch will provide a budget estimate; once plans are agreed we provide an itemised quote. Unless your requirements change, you can rely on this quote – there won’t be charges for extras or any nasty surprises.

Can I extend upstairs?

A friendly consultation with Phil and Mitch can establish whether you can extend your second floor over an existing ground floor or build a two-storey extension.
